Student Pastor

Beginning my ministry career at Whitewater Crossing on the west side of Cincinnati as an intern in their Children’s Ministry, I never anticipated God would bring me to where I am now. After beginning conversations with Scott (our Lead Pastor) on a whim, and ALOT of prayer, My now wife, Jerica, and I decided to make the move here to Community. It turned out to be the best decision we could have ever made. By meeting the most incredible church family, and having an incredible environment to learn, I was able to complete my degree in Youth and Children’s Ministry while interning at Community part-time. Now, I have the privilege of claiming Youth Ministry as my full-time gig! I love getting to hang out with students, and connect them to the overall church body as we continue to support them in their personal faith.

I grew up in an awesome Christian home as the youngest of 6 kids (A “Yours, Mine, and Ours” type deal). I’ll never take for granted how incredible my parents were at showing me the love of Jesus, and encouraging me to take ownership of my faith. During my time at Cincinnati Christian University (really only like 3 days into being there) I met the most incredible godly woman on the planet (she was pretty, too) and I decided I wasn’t going to leave her alone until she agreed to a date. Now she is my wife, and we live in Lindenwald with our beta fish, Melvin. I am so blessed with the life God has given me, and the opportunity I have to lead people to Jesus through my role here at Community.
